Performing Parameter Conversion of Measurement Results
You can use the parameter conversion function to convert the measurement results of the
S-parameter ( ) to the following parameters.
R Equivalent impedance ( ) and equivalent admittance ( ) in reflection
measurement
R Equivalent impedance ( ) and equivalent admittance ( ) in transmission
measurement
R Inverse S-parameter ( )
where:
Characteristic impedance of port a

Characteristic impedance of port b

Operational Procedure
ON/OFF
Step 1. Press or to activate a channel on which you want to use the
marker.
Step 2. Press or to activate a trace on which you want to use the marker.
Step 3. Press .
Step 4. Press
Conversion.
Step 5. Press
Conversion to turn ON the conversion function.
*1.When the fixture simulator function is ON and the port impedance function is ON, the value
set in the port impedance conversion is used. In other cases, the system Z0 (preset value: 50
Ω) is used.
