1.1 General

The N4962A serial BERT 12.5 Gb/s operates from 500 Mb/s – 12.5 Gb/s

referencing an external clock, and from 9.85 – 11.35 Gb/s with the programmable

internal clock.

The N4962A includes:

• Internal clock system

• PRBS generator

• Error detector

• External clock input for 0.5 to 12.5 GHz operation
