6 For 307X systems, it is not necessary but may be
helpful to remove the support bay covers as
described below (save all hardware):
a Using a cabinet key, open the front and rear doors.
You may remove the doors, but it’s not necessary.
b Using a #2 Pozidriv screwdriver, first remove the
top cover; it is held by two screws in the rear.
Then remove the left and right side covers; they
are each held by two screws at the top.
7 For 317X systems, remove the testhead covers (save
all hardware):
a Rotate the testhead to the 0-degree (shipping)
position.
b If the probe is in the probe holder on the safety
skirt, move it to a safe location.
c Using a 5-millimeter hex wrench, remove the
safety skirt.
d Using a T20 Torx driver, remove the top and
bottom covers; they are each held by one screw on
the front of the testhead.
e Rotate the testhead to the 90-degree (service)
position.
f Using a 1/4-inch flat blade screwdriver, remove
