GPIB Addresses

The 1100 Master module connected to Galaxie with the GPIB

cable must have a unique address between 0 and 31. Usually 21

is reserved for IEEE488 controller (GPIB card or 800 MIB with

GPIB card).

The address is set with an 8 bit switch located on the rear panel

of modules. Changing the position of these switches must be

done with module switched-off.

The following table shows the switch positions for each GPIB

address:
