Router
This test verifies that the Router is accessible and in working
condition.
Test setup
If Active Discovery does not detect the Router-under-test, then
it can be manually added. The name or address of the Router is
typed in at the first setup screen. The next setup screen provides a
list of measurements performed during the test. Select a
measurement from the list and press Edit to view and modify the
thresholds used to rate the performance of the measurement.
The following measurements are taken during the test.
Name Lookup The request or response time for converting a name
into an address.
PING Response The time taken to perform an ICMP Echo test on
the server.
