Web Server
The Web Server test verifies that the server is accessible and
measures the download time of the first HTTP access operation.
Test setup
The first setup screen is used to type in the URL of the web
server. The second setup screen is used to request a proxy
server and to name the server. The last setup screen provides a
list of measurements performed during the test. Select a
measurement from the list and press Edit to view and modify the
thresholds used to rate the performance of the measurement.
The following measurements are taken during the test.
Name Lookup The request or response time for converting a
name into an address.
PING Response The time taken to perform an ICMP Echo test
on the server.
