Purpose of Fiber Break
Assistant
The aim of the Fiber Break Assistant is to help people
who have not used the Fiber Break Locator before.
You can turn off the Fiber Break Locator as follows:
1 Bring up the General Settings page of the Instrument
Configuration (see “How to Set the General
Configuration” on page 130).
Change User Experience Level 2 Select a
High
User Experience Level.
3 Select
Save
, then exit the Instrument Config pages.
With a High user experience level, some of the steps in the
following example will be missing. To re-enable the Fiber
Break Assistant, return to the Instrument Config page,
and select a user experience level of Low.
Using the Fiber Break Locator
1 Select Fiber Break Locator from the Applications
Screen.
Attach a fiber 2 If you have not already done so, attach a fiber to your
