Ensure that the physical address of Intel PRO/1000 PL network

connection adapter is valid and ESM is reachable from the host PC

1 Type ping 169.254.1.0 in the Command shell on the host

PC. Check the results of the ping command.

2 If the ping command fails, type ipconfig/all in the

command shell and check the physical address displayed

for Intel PRO/1000 PL network connection adapter in the

command’s results.

3 If the physical address of the Intel PRO/1000 PL network

connection adapter is all zeros, reinstall the appropriate

network drivers from the <Installation directory of Logic

Analyzer>/CRMNetworkDrivers/PCIe.

Power cycle the chassis and reboot the host PC

1 Power down both host PC and AXIe chassis.

2 Power on the AXIe chassis.

3 Wait for a stead green status light to appear on the ESM

of the chassis. Wait for 2 minutes for all other

components to start properly.

4 Power on the host PC.

Parameter Description

[platform] “i386” for x86 and x64

“ia64” for Itanium 64

[connection name[ Name of the local area connection associated with

Intel PRO/1000 PL network connection adapter in

Control Panel.

[install directory] Full path where the Logic Analyzer software has

been installed. You can leave it blank if the Logic

Analyzer software has been installed at the default

location - C:\Program Files\Agilent Technologies\

Logic Analyzer.
