3 Installing Software Components

• temporarily disable the firewall on the FTP server till the

upgrade is complete.

• connect the chassis to the same network in which the

machine hosting the FTP server is connected.

Option 1 - Use the AMP/AXIe Upgrade tool

To upgrade the chassis firmware using this tool

1 Access the upgrade tool by clicking <Program Files>\

Agilent Technologies\Logic Analyzer\

agAmpAxieUpgrade.exe.

2 Select the Upgrade Type as Chassis Firmware.

3 Specify the path of the FTP server and subdirectory from

where you want to upgrade the firmware. This is the

same FTP server and directory where you extracted the

upgrade package in “Step 3 - Extract the contents of the

firmware upgrade package to the FTP server.

4 If required, change the name and location of the update

log file.

5 Click Upgrade.
