7 Error Information
Module Error Messages
Metering Home Failed
Error ID: 4054, 4704
The metering piston has failed to move back to the home position.
The home position sensor on the sampling unit flex board monitors the
home position of the piston. If the piston fails to move to the home
position, or if the sensor fails to recognize the piston position, the error
message is generated.
Probable cause Suggested actions
1 Dirty or defective sensor.
Please contact your Agilent service
representative.
2 Broken plunger.
Exchange the metering plunger and seal.
3 Defective metering-drive motor.
Please contact your Agilent service
representative.
4 Defective main board.
Please contact your Agilent service
representative.
