Performing a Ping Test
Performing a Ping Test
The Ping test allows you to check if communications can be
established with a particular remote node. The FrameScope
“pings” a remote node by sending it a request message. If the
remote device is active and reachable it will respond.
Follow these steps to run a Ping test.
1 From the main Network tab or
from a device’s display on the
Station List, press the Tools
button to display a menu of
available network testing tools.
