This board can control up to

two discrete attenuators which

have either three or four atten-

uator sections. Each attenuator

section requires two coil drivers

to switch attenuator sections

IN or OUT of the signal path.

A 4-section attenuator would

require eight coil drivers. Two

attenuators require 16 coil

drivers, so all of the available

coil drivers are used to drive

two attenuators.
